Are the Disney ships stable???

We are blessed as we do not get motion sickness,,, we have noted however that the Wonder (sorry Magic we love our Wonder staff) does quite well in seas up to about 13'. You will notice some movement but not too severe... After you get up past 13' it does get a rockin (picture extending your hands to walk down the hallway)... we hit 18' swells on a cruise in Oct (at dinner time) and we lost 6 of the 8 folks at our table...The common areas looked like the hospital scene from Gone with the Wind, kids and adults were sick everywhere

The "hit squad" (cleans up involuntary emmisions) was so far behind due to the backlog that "spills" were still at the tables by dessert time (I know it's yucky).. They were cleaning carpets until 4 AM in the hallways!

The ship had a large number of "red ribbions" on board who were earning thier ears... several of them were ill as well.

The good news is that this is very, very rare and when it does happen it is usually crossing the Florida Straights so you are clear of the disturbance within 4-6 hours.

Sail and expect motion to be minimal... If you do encouter the rare high waves make it an adventure

The Wonder with its short distance to travel, and in particular the 4 days when the last sea days is just 'hanging around', means it can go slow, and therefore less movement.

The Magic across the North Sea for the Baltic, and the EB Transatlantic will be a big test for the 'hit' squad.
