Are the decks smoke free?

We're a family of non-smokers, and we really can't stand even second hand smoke. Are the decks and staterooms smoke-free, or does one have to request this from DCL? We have a Cat 11 GTY inside cabin, and we're hoping not to be smoked out from neighbouring rooms or the hallway! ;)

Smoking is only allowed on-deck or on a verandah.

All staterooms and other indoor areas are smoke-free.

[Edit]
I forgot about the night clubs/lounges. We didn't spend much time there.

All of the staterooms are non-smoking, all of the time. Cruisers with rooms that have a verandah may smoke on their verandah only. There is no smoking in the interior hallways, in the restaurants, theaters, and most other common indoor areas. Smoking is allowed in a few areas of some of the lounges.
Smoking is also allowed on the outside decks, except near the Mickey pool.
On our two cruises, I have not noticed very many smokers, and while they may have been smoking as we walked by, there is always a stiff breeze, and once you pass by them, the air is clear again. DCL seems to draw a reasonable considerate clientele.
I don't think you will have any problem at all.

I am also really sensitive to cigerette/cigar smoke and I really didn't notice it much on the cruise....maybe I was having such a good time I wasn't paying attention to it LOL....we really never went to any of the clubs since I had my almost 3 year old with me so I don't know about in there though.

The clubs do get a bit smokey.. it's noticable, but not as bad as some other clubs/bars I have been to.

I liked the idea someone had that they should have clubs non-smoking ntil 11pm at least.

Personally, I am of the opinion people should only be able to smoke in designated smoking areas... on certain sections of outdoor decks only.

We are both very sensitive to tobacco smoke. We've had verandahs twice and never had problem with cigarette smoke from other verandahs. We've also never experienced a problem on the outer decks with cigarette smoke.

That said, we do have trouble in the nightclubs with cigarette smoke -- especially by the bar. We try to stay away from the bar area anyway, so there are always workarounds.

The only real complaint that I had from the last cruise was that after our Grand Cayman and Cozamel stops there seemed to be a lot of guys smoking their "cubans". We walked around deck 4 a couple of times in the evening and could not get away from the cigar smoke!! Every 10 feet or so it seemed like there was someone smoking - on both sides of the deck - so we gave up walking those evenings.
