Are teens/tweens allowed at Tambu Lounge?

We arrive next weekend and have Ohana reservations which we are thinking about cancelling. There are 6 of us and it's hard to justify the cost with all the menu changes. I have 4 kids ages 12-20. Will they allow the kids to eat there (trying to get bread pudding, potstickers and hopefully noodles)? If so, can you explain the seating? Do we all sit at the bar or are there tables? Also, we're staying off property...hoping they'll let us park? Thank you!!

Yes. There are tables and a bar; I would recommend with 4 kids you'd sit at a table to not take up too many bar seats.

Do they have a secret menu at Tambu lounge? The menu that is currently online has none of those things and we've only ever ordered drinks and sushi there. I also have never noticed dining tables, just chairs with maybe end tables between for setting down a beverage, but not really for an entire meal. I've also never seen kids sitting at a bar.

There aren't traditional tables...as someone said above, there are end tables scattered around between chairs/benches. It stays very crowded, so even getting enough chairs together can prove challenging.

Also, without actual dinner reservations, you won't be allowed to park at the Poly.

As far as parking goes, that's going to be a bit of a gamble without an ADR and may depend on the guard at the gate, how busy they are, if parking is limited due to construction, etc. MK resorts have always been fairly strict about parking being for resort guests and those with dining reservations only and became even more so during COVID times with reports of people being turned away, even if they had proof of a mobile order. Your safest bet would be to park at the TTA.

I'm working off memory but I am not sure I recall any tables in the lounge area that would easily fit 6 around it. I also think the tables are pretty small (might fit 6 drinks but not 6 drinks plus food items) and coffee table height. It's a really popular spot... we often struggle to find two bar stools or a table for two in the lounge.

To the best of my knowledge there are no dining tables at Tambu (maybe coffee tables though) but assuming the outdoor seating at the Tiki Lounge are still there you’ll be fine. There’s many other places to sit throughout the Poly public area.
