Are some studios bigger at some resorts then the others?

Welooked at a studio @ BWV and I swear it looked much bigger then the one we stayed at @ BCV.

I know people will disagree, but I feel the same. I stayed in a studio at BC last June and when we first walked in, my dd said..."Hey, how come it's smaller than BW?" Not a lot but enough that we noticed.

Did the studio at BWV have a coffee table? I know that the big empty area (can you tell I don't like being without a coffee table) makes the studio at BWV appear bigger because of more floor space. And didn't they announce at the annual meeting 2 years ago that there were going to be coffee tables?

I own at BWV, but did tour BCV when they were first for sale. I think it's beautiful, but definitely smaller. They say sq footage is the same, to me it seems as if everything from the front door is "pushed further back" leaving less living space - if that makes any sense. I also don't like the way they split the toilet/shower/sink area (BW's is a very large space and I like that), and made the master closet SO SMALL. I love that huge closet at BWV. I can hang everything, put all the empty bags in there, and iron! Anyway, it certainly isn't reason enough NOT to stay there, place is gorgeous and roomy enough. JMHO

Looking at the BCV Floor maps on the *********** site, it seems like there are medium studios, some a little smaller and some a little larger. That all studios even in one resort are not identical in size or layout.
We must have gotten one of the smaller ones last year. It was claustrophobia inducing.

The layout of the studio at BCV is one of the things that I really like about BCV. The door to the connecting 1 bedroom is not in the living area and so it just seems more private to me. Maybe it seems smaller because of the foyer area, but I like it better than the connecting studios at BWV or VWL!

I think sometimes furniture and decor can give the impression of a different size as well. We felt like the SSR studio was spacious in the foyer area, but cramped in the dressing area.

Where is the connecting door located? Do they have any dedicated studios at BC?

There are dedicated studios at BCV, but I've never had one. In the lock-offs, the connecting door to the 1 bedroom area is right there as you walk into the studio from the hallway.

I had a dedicated studio at BCV 2 weeks ago - 531.

When we stayed at BCV a couple of years ago, I could hardly find anywhere in the room to put up the pack n play for my DD. I did wonder if the particular studio we had was smaller than some of the others. I've never had a problem with the pack n play in the other studios we have stayed in. (VWL, BWV)

From the DVC website(as well as UOG) BWV studio is 412 sq feet while BCV, SSR, & VWL is 365 sq. ft.
