Hi, I have two car reservations. One at Budget( which does not give Delta skymiles) and one at Dollar ( which gives skymiles).
I would be paying about $38.00 more at Dollar. Is it worth getting the miles for the extra money ? It seems it to me. But am I missing something?
The value of SkyMiles is $.0275 cents per mile. That's what Delta will sell them to you at. Unless Dollar is going to give you at least 1400 miles on that rental I'd say it isn't worth it.

I think the reason is that they are now charging us for the admin. costs of the programs. Actually it is a FED surcharge.
From Dollar's website: Effective May 1, 2003, frequent flyer miles may be subject to a frequent flyer surcharge of $0.50 per rental day up to $2.00 per transaction collected at time of rental.
Yes, Yanni is awesome, this will be my 4th concert. I keep telling Dee that he would make an wonderful Christmas gift, but, so far, nothing. LOL
