I'm assuming the water shoes are permitted on the slides(can't stand those!), but how about sandals?

Thanks!

Mark.P,

I am assuming that your *sandals* have got buckle fastenings?

If so, then you will not be allowed to wear them on the slides, especially the inflatable raft type attractions.

Quote from www.wdwig.com,:
"Don't wear swimsuits having rivets, buckles or exposed metal. These are not permitted on the slides".
But I think it would be okay to wear them in the wave pools at TL, BB etc.

Water shoes are permitted by the parks as they are smooth, and do not have any sharp edges which could harm or damage the rafts and / or other guests.

I wore my Teva's on most of the slides, but took them off on the big ones, like Summit Plummet, Humunga Cowabunga. The CM's make you fold your hands over your chest, so I just held my sandals on my chest. I recommend wearing sandals if you go during a hot season - the ground gets very, very hot, especially at BB.
