I just received my room assignment today, although we don't sail until October. We are in Cat 10 Rooms 2135 and 2137, connecting rooms. This is out first cruise and what the TA gave us. We are a "blended" family of 5, DH is stepfather of my 2 DD's age 14 and 12, so we need the 2 connecting rooms.
I read somewhere on here that that is a noisy floor!! This is our first time and we have saved for a year to make this trip....I don't want to be disappointed.
Can anyone recommend a better room situation to request to the TA, or should I leave these alone????

Worried.............

These rooms are not on the "Noisy Stateroom" list at www.dcltribute.com so I'd say you're all set. We are also on Deck 2 and are looking forward to it (we have previously had cabins on Decks 5, 6 & 7).

If you decide to upgrade to cabins with verandahs you will spend $1000+ more for each cabin. IMO the verandah really isn't worth that much money but others disagree.

I feel alot better now!! Thanks Michele!
Olivia is excited that you guys are on Deck 2!! I told her it's a BIG Deck! Lol But that is coincidental.
I didn't know it was $1000 more for getting verandahs. I don't think we'd use them that much....I would much rather just go sit outside on the Decks and use that money for something else!!

Thanks again. You have been very helpful!
