are rides open during HHN?

I have never been to HHN and personally do not want to go!! But....my 15 year old son sure does. Anyway, I am trying to figure out what if any rides are open during HHN. The Universal website says "select rides and attractions" will be open but I cant figure out what that means. My son thinks he is still going to be able to go on the Mummy and the new roller coaster during HHN and I want to prepare him in case he cannot. Thanks in advance for any information anyone can help me with!

100% correct. So far there have been no lines for the attractions open during HHN.

Let me just add that I rode this opening night and got absolutely soaked. My jeans and shoes were soaking wet and it did not make for a fun rest of the night.

No. It wasn't the chum bucket. It was when toasted jaws pops out of the water right at the end. Once he popped out, a tidal wave came into my row. I was so close to getting off dry too.

There's a couple houses this year and a scarezone where you can get pretty soaked as well so it's not just limited to the shark.
