Are Regis and Kelly blocking the entrance

I know this is stupid but I am curious how are people walking into the park now? This show seems to take up the entire town sqaure with audience members sitting. When the camera showed the crowds everyone was sitting no one was coming or out of the park

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching!!!!

I think they may not be "Live", but filmed before park is opened. Yesterday and today the park does not open until 9. Friday is an EMH morning so they open at 8 for resort guests, but I heard that Friday's show will be taped on Thursday right after they do Thursday's show.

And got back yesterday. What WAS blocking the entrance was the AFV stage They're taping shows to be aired later on, as I was leaving the Park, people would be coming in with wrist bands, checking in at the gates. Don't know if they were sharing the stage with Kelly and Regis or not.

They are sharing the same stage. AFV moved out and Regis moved in.

Just returned from a 10 day visit and the AFV staging was at MK earlier this week at the same location that Regis and Kelly are now...At the flagpole area as you walk under the train station...AFV had signs up saying that the air date for whatever they filmed at MK is May 13th...We asked some WDW staff standing near the staging about the taping of AFV and we were told that it took place when the park was closed. We left the MK on Tuesday afternoon and Regis & Kelly staging set-up was well underway for starting their shows yesterday. I spoke with someone working in the Expo. Hall and he had heard that on Tuesday, someone important had arrived because they had curtains set up in their store, but he did not know who was there...This staff member did say though that "there will be no getting in this park easily on Wednesday a.m.!", as Regis and Kelly were broadcasting live at 9 a.m. Thankfully, after seeing the show on TV this a.m., DH and I are glad to be out of the parks, as the crowds seemed quite intense with celebrities on Main Street and from the pre-recorded portions of today's show, Regis and Kelly were apparently all over the parks taping probably yesterday, so crowds followed!!! We hit enough crowds withOUT celebrities amongst us (...that we knew of, that is! I was thrilled to see Wayne Brady sitting right in front of us at the Tarzan Rocks! show at AK on Monday, though!!!!!! )

So, that is what we saw up until late Tuesday afternoon at MK with regard to the Regis & Kelly hoopla going on! Glad to be home and not in the heat that was embracing WDW this week!!!!!

The show was shown live at 9:00am yesterday & today. Tomorrow's show was taped today at 11:30am (I was there). You could still enter MK the usual way, the stage did not block the entrances on either side. When we left MK around 3:30, the seating had been removed, they were working on the stage.
