Are quick service credits interchangeable between kids/adults?

I know on the dining plan kids must order from the kids menu at TS restaurants but are QS the same or are all the credits the same for those? I ask because there are a couple QS restaurants we would like to eat at but the only options for kids (PBJ - he's allergic to nuts, Turkey sandwich & cheeseburgers - he doesn't like others) but the adult menu has a hot dog or chicken nuggets he would eat... Would be a pain to have to walk to another restaurant to get him a KIDS chicken nuggets when they have them at the place we are eating...

According to the brochures and literature put out by WDW regarding the dining plan, children age 3-9 must order from the children's menu at restaurants that have one. Including counter service.

Because this is pretty well spelled out in the literature, the Restaurant board has a policy of no discussion regarding using the children's credits any other way.

There is nothing that distinguishes a kids CS from an adults CS. They are all in one pool.

but you will not be allowed to order more meals than people listed on your reservation. If you are registered as two adults and two children, the system will not allow you to purchase three adult entrees at the same time with your dining credits.

Hmmm. I'm not sure how that would work. I mean, I don't have a per-day allotment on the DDP. I can order all my CS meals in one day if I wanted to. I just don't see any hard stops that could be in place. You might get pushback from the CMs, but I don't see people caring that much.

As stated before, if you have 2 adults and 1 child, and the eatery has a child's menu, they will only allow you to order 2 adult meals at one time. The stop that is in place is that when you scan your band it will show how many adults and children you have on the plan.
