Are PPO breakfasts that hard to get or...?

I'm wondering what the deal is exactly with PPO breakfast in the parks because I'm interested in getting one for my last day in the parks (Wed 12/21). This is because there are apparently no morning EMH on that day which only gives me four hours (maybe much less than that) before having to go to the airport.

Are they supposed to show up on the dining reservation page, similar to regular dining reservations or do I have have to something completely different here? Cause it's not showing me any breakfast times prior to park opening.

Is there a link with more information on this?

They can be booked on the normal reservation page.

Just be warned: If park hours change, they may not be PPO any more.

Plug in 8:00 am instead of just breakfast when searching. The system doesn't like to show ppo availability if there's just one sitting there.

It may be difficult to get because you're past the 180 day mark, unfortunately.
But the good news is that most parks will probably open at 8am that morning. Although they haven't announced it yet, MK and I believe HS traditionally have extended holiday hours that day prior to Christmas.

To answer the question in your subject line, yes, many/most PPO ADRs can be hard to get, especially during busy times. It's a popular time to schedule breakfast because it gets you in the park early, you're not wasting park time sitting in a restaurant, and most are really fun with the characters and all! Depending on the restaurant, it wouldn't surprise me if you're seeing limited/no availability for 12/21.

But... keep checking, even up to the day before. People change their plans all the time.
