Are points different within a cruise category like 5A,B,C?

Hi,

Just planning to book one of the new itineraries tomorrow and was wondering if the points needed are different depending whether you book A, B, or C within a category. This is the first cruise we are booking with tiered levels (we usually got a Cat 6 which is now a 5B for that same room on the Magic/Wonder)

Just trying to get all my ducks in a row to call first thing in the AM. Tough to book without knowing how many points or how much cash?

Yes it is a range.

For example on our DCL Fantasy cruise coming in March 2013, the point chart has under Category 5 a range of 200-216 points per person. We booked a 5a for 216 points person, if we had booked a 5c it would've been 200 points, 5b would've been somewhere in between.
