Are People Excited About Communicore Hall

I am really, really hoping Communiore Hall will be a return to a Festival Center. DH and I truly have missed all of the offerings we used to enjoy, namely the wine tastings, the chocolate sculpture displays, merchandise, etc. The air conditioning was a very nice plus as well! We never got to experience Party for the Senses (kids were young lol) but would love to see that return as well. (though guessing not likely)
If they bring back the demos I think the Party has a shot. The one we did had a number of chefs who were doing the demos that week so it kinda went hand in hand.

I want to know if the character meets will have a LL,option on day one! That’s what is important to me.

I was excited for this…. 1717785940584.png

but that is not what we got. I suspect it will be like the other EPCOT additions. Days until the first issues appear, like the embedded LEDs in the pavement at Dreamers Point or Moana Journey of Water Big Wave Ocean breakdown.

Not really. My mantra with Disney is it doesn't matter if they announce it, it doesn't matter if they start it, it doesn't matter if they finish it ... it only matters if it is operational and doing what was promised. Right now I'll wait especially since EPCOT's new offerings are a shell of what was promised. And I think much of the plan was dumb anyway ... "neighborhoods" that make no sense. I'll wait.

Read that Mirabel comes out for the last couple minutes of the 20 min singalong.

I had the exact opposite feeling 😂
That’s the wonderful thing, each person can feel what they wish to feel and that’s okay.

If this was a show in a theatre I’d expect more but I picture Communicore Hall as a place people wander through and just stop for a few minutes. I could be totally wrong about that though. Time will tell.

Not particularly. Doesn't seem worth the annoyance of all those construction walls being up for so long, seeing as it's just a building. The Encanto 'show' looks pretty terrible as well, if I'm being generous.

I don't want to watch the video because we'll be there in just over a week but if it includes singing, dancing and the opportunity for my littles to sit on the ground and jump up and down without anyone getting annoyed with them its a win. I know adults prefer all the bells and whistles but the little ones sometimes prefer it ot be simple. My daughter (5) still talks about the dance party in the Disney Jr as her favorite part of our trips, despite being able to ride almost everything in the parks.

Also I was pretty excited when I saw all the new grassy open spaces with picnic tables, parent of 3 so anywhere that I can sit for a second and my kids can run, roll and burn off steam is a win.

They will be happy then - it’s a dance party!

That looks sweet. Opportunities for kids to get involved build lifelong memories!! I still remember being an extra in the Indiana Jones show many, many…ahem many years ago !!

I always wanted to get picked for Indiana Jones. I'd like to be the guy who gets into a fight with the big guy, but they always seem to pick the dude who also happens to be a trained stuntman/stage fighter.... 🤣

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture.

Honestly, I actually like the style of the new building. I was never quite sold on the big, round treehouse looking thing. I like the matching theme to Spaceship Earth. That said, would definitely like to have seen somethig a bit more involved with more cover, a nicer stage, and all that. So, I give style points to the building, but it does seem pretty dinky in comparison.

I never really thought Disney was actually going to build the treehouse ~ seemed too creative for them but ............. seriously this building is like much of FutureWorld .......... dated before even built. It legit looks like a strip mall / tourist stop from the 70's. This angle I expect to be shared by a nail salon and cleaners.

I think the hardest part is they tore down a simplistic building, then built another simplistic building and honestly the offerings didn't change too much. I feel like this was a lateral move. And I know all are excited about a flex space that can change with festivals etc or be a rest spot in between ... but I remember the flex hall in DHS that was going to host lots of great stuff, and now has a talking car living in it.
