Are passes with packages active before package dates

We are going to WDW in a little over a week and have annual passes for this trip. Then at the end of July we will be going on a package deal that includes tickets. I have read stories on here where other people have had the wrong tickets used on their first trip. This can’t happen to us can it? Even though I was able to make our fast passes for the second trip, I don’t see the passes on MDE right now.

There’s no way to “use” the packaged tickets because they are inactive. You have nothing to worry about.
