I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of activities are more geared towards boys. I'm taking my DD6princess: to the BBB and then a tea party on her bday. But I'm not sure what to have my DH and DS9 pirate: do during that time. I was hoping for a boys activity. Any thoughts would be great!

Give them a fishing trip or a boat rental . Disney Quest is also good.

You may also want to check and see whats going on over at WWoS complex.

They may just want to go and hit some of the big rides together as well.

What about a pirate cruise? It is for kids only, no adults but my boys LOVE it!!!!! Girls can go, but I think it is more geared towards boys. Your husband could also take him out on the small mouse boats, that is SO much fun! How about a horse or pony ride at fort wilderness? Not really a "boy" thing but they could go minigolfing or parasailing. They could go to the sports complex if there is something going on that day. I think they could find plenty to do.....and it is disney and it will be dad and son time, no matter what they do.....it has the potential to be special!!!!

Just FYI, I saw several boys get their hair "done" at BBB. They came out with a spiky hairstyle with a Mickey icon painted on the back, colored gel/paint in the hair and a more masculine version (ie bigger pieces, not glitter) of pixie dust. They really looked cool and seemed pleased with their hair! :cool1:

I think you can do this at the Magic Kingdom Barber Shop too.

unfortunatly most of Disney is geared towards the princess. mostly because the boy stuff didn't really sell very well.

There was a villans breakfast, but well the villans got a little to carried away so to speak, so it was caned. the pixar breakfast was a great idea for the boys, but it was replaced with what is now play n Dine , which i have heard good reviews of.

Thankyou for all the good advice. I'm pretty sure the fishing trip/boat rental will be perfect. Now I don't have to feel guilty when my DD princess: and I are having so much fun.

I don't know when you're going, but you can also take your boys to the Princess and Pirate hard ticket event if it's going on then. We're going w/our two boys. It is an evening event you have to buy a separate ticket for, but we did MNSSHP last year and it was a big hit. HTH

At the World of Disney store where the new BBB is -there is also a new Pirate store that is getting raves from everyone - Like someone else said he can get the boys treatment at BBB then maybe hang out at the really cool Pirate shop in the World of Disney pirate:

This isn't a real event, but my boys LOVED the Captain Jack pirate tutorial show at MK.

Pirate cruise out of GF (Great!)
Pirate store is nice.
Parasailing at Contemporary is a great idea. (you can ride tandem)
Fishing and renting boats are cool.
A round of golf (dad and son)
Boys night out at Disney Quest
Rent bikes and peddle through the resorts
Man's day at a water park

Have you tried any of these?

You guys are so great!! So many good ideas. We are all doing the PPP since we'll be out there in Jan. That morning both DS and DD will be doing the Pirate cruise (it'll be a full pirate day). I'm trying to talk my DH into dressing up(who wouldn't want to take their own pirate home?)
