My parents were/are great people but I think they had a difficult marriage. They were still married when my dad died though and I don't know what their future would have looked like if he had lived.
My mom went on to remarry another great guy who finished up raising me. They've been married over 30 years and often still seem like they are on their honeymoon, lol. I can remember so many dinners with my dad (stepdad) saying "Hey kids, look at how beautiful your mother is" and mom would be sitting there looking like she always did in everyday clothes.
I have a lot of respect for all of my parents, mom, dad, and stepdad.

My inlaws have been married 51 years and are going strong. They've had a solid marriage and are devoted to each other.

My parents are still married, and DH's mom passed away, his dad remarried, and they've been married over 20 years. There is no divorce in either of our immediate and extended families - siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents - all still married. I think that the more divorce there is in families, the more likely you are to be divorced.

My parents were married until the death of my mom. My father never remarried.

Mine seperated just before I turned 17 and their divorce was (finally) finalized when I was about 20 or 21. In hindsite they did not have a good relationship, I can understand why now as my mom has some issues but they never fought. I can only ever remember them fighting once in the first 17 years of my life. They were married for 21 years before they seperated. I think everyone is happier now, maybe not my mother but it was her decision to leave after she cheated on my father. My mother is actually still with the guy that she cheated on my father with (11 years later), she says she is terribly unhappy but she won't do anything to help herself :confused3 Honestly I like her boyfriend more than I like my mother anymore
