I had to go in and take a cookie swallow test because of my jaw surgery. It was incredibly awkward haha. But everything looked ok!
I had to get it done because before my surgery my jaw was so pushed back it caused my esophagus to be all squished. So now that it's in it's proper place they were worried I might have complications. But the prelim reports say I don't! Woo!

I hear you...things have been crazy here too. I am so ready for the 3-day weekend.

I got my cruise documents in the mail this week so now I need to really get down to business of figuring out what I need to buy before the trip. I think I have my son finished (he needed new shorts and swimsuits). But my DD is not cooperating. I told her if she doesn't start checking out her closet this weekend and trying things on, she may be stuck in jeans and t-shirts (and that won't be fun in July, LOL).

What is really bothering me though is my back and neck. I thought I was done with this, but the pain is back again. Of course, it has to show up one month before out trip

It happened a month ago and went away quickly so I am giving it a couple of days. But this time it doesn't seem to be going away. Time to go break out the medication again, I'm afraid.

I have a follow up with my doctor scheduled for next month anyway but I may need to get in to see her sooner.

Sorry to hear about your neck and back, that is not good. Hope you get in to see her before your trip.

Jetski - I hope the universe comes together in harmony and your kids get their act together, your back gets better and everything is good.

Me I'm going to get a massage now and hope they concentrate on m y knee which has been killing me!

Popping in - been AWOL lately, the WIFI is out at my mom's house -and my data is at 91% ... and it doesn't reset until June 9th at midnight! So, until that happens - minimal phone usage there.

I did get some new books, hopefully they'll keep me entertained.

I'll catch up with everyone this weekend - promise!

(Did officially start my TR today! DH is all fussing at me for not having it all written already. Sigh... )

I kinda shudder to think what all we'll have to do before we ever move. I know for sure the garbage disposal we'll have to replace. It died on us. Thankfully, our heater died last year, so we had to replace everything. That's at least one thing in our favor!

I was telling DH the other night that it is always like I have to pay this huge price for going on vacation. They is always a long list of things that go wrong or break or projects to be done, etc before we get to leave.

I guess it is life's way of making me appreciate my vacation

I would be in so much trouble without Wifi. DH sometimes threatens to turn it off when the kids aren't paying attention to him. But that just gets me mad because it will punish me more than it punishes them

Welcome back!! Very cool on seeing your brother. How far away is he from you? My sister is just on the other side of the state but that is still way too far away.

Thank everyone for the good wishes for my back/neck. It is still bugging me today but not quite as bad as yesterday. I'm going to give it the weekend and then decide if I need to try and see the doctor early (next appt. isn't until June 20th) or try the medication.

One this is for sure...I'm not a Happy Camper I don't want to be in pain during the cruise....again

I know what you mean about pain. I have had this pain in my knee ever since I was on the cruise. Though the chiropractor has been working on it, the pain has become unbearable. I started taking half a dose of one of Fran's pain pills a couple days ago. It really numbed the pain, but yesterday after I got a massage and drank a cup of coffee, I had an oops.

I don't know if it was the coffee, the pain pill or the fact that we haven't changed our water filter in too long. Either way some icky bug got me and I've been feeling queasy and wobbly since then. I'm afraid to take the Norco (even half), and afraid to have coffee or drink water from the fridge until we get a new filter.

Today I'm going to wash all my cups and water bottles that I use in case they have germies breeding in them.

Ugh I am ticked at my MIL and it's ruining my day.apparently she texted my husband with a snotty remark regarding her birthday gift (and I guess Mother's Day since it was the same). We got her gift cards but she didn't think the value was enough $$$. That was yesterday then I guess she texted another snotty remark today and ended it "Love you!". Passive aggressive much?!

I normally say she means well but I'm starting to doubt that
