I also just accidentally ruined a telemarketers day. Someone called asking for my uncle who died about 9 years ago. I said "I'm sorry he died can I help you?" We'll she kinda spluttered around kept apologizing and truly sounded upset and hung up. I kinda felt bad.

Yes I know that is their job but there are other despicable jobs too

My sister tells telemarketers that our Dad died when they call for him. One day she had to do some quick back peddling when she thought it was a telemarketer and it was someone our Dad sails with and he said "I was just talking with him a couple of hours ago, that was very sudden and unexpected."

Haha what's even worse is that we also get mail for my great uncle who died two years ago and mail for the one who does 9 years ago. Sometimes they get more mail than us. You'd think they'd figure it out by now.... But nope.

Yup and now I just got an ominous "call me" email from my realtor. I called and just got her vmail. Grrrr

ETA: Also I was vague on facebook for the very reason of not getting freak outs and now my MIL is telling me to hire a lawyer and break the deal (without knowing details). Grrr

After we get the appraisal and that looks good for the loan the seller's realtor is going to pay for an independent electrician to come out and evaluate things. My realtor said I could be present for it too to ask questions and see stuff, so that's good.

Yup yup, we are getting there.

Said the seller does want me to be happy but wants to make sure the repairs are necessary since his guy says they aren't. So the electrician will be someone else and will evaluate.


Wondering if his guy couldn't provide the evidence I asked for.

Oh no....sorry but My DH always answers the phone "Dominos" He felt really bad when he did that to my cousin that I hadn't spoken to in years.

Hey Boo Boos!!! Things are still crazy here. I can't wait until my DS gets his big report done. At least then I can relax in the evenings again instead of having to sit watching over him to make sure he keeps working.

I'm just glad I never had to go down that road. I know you moms and grandmoms love your legacy, but I'm OK without having one. I'm OK with my cats as what I am leaving. We need to try and use up what we have. Of course someone will benefit from what we have but we don't need to store things away as if we have a legacy, we can kind of use it all up, as in build us an awesome house and not worry about inheritance. They can sell off our stuff and end up with more money than they every worried about so we can do with it what we want!
