Well yesterday was our street festival... So David and I were there at 7 am setting up, with rain drops every so often...then we bought new cell phones. Then we made a pizza and called it a night... Very long day...

Brunch with one of my daughter's and her beau today! Much of our discussion will be about their likely move to Chicago in a few months.

I'm happy and excited for them, really I am. I'm just not happy for me!!!

Yeah my mom is sad/ excited Today for that reason too. For a few months I've been debating about moving to DC, but didn't want to move alone. Well one of my BFFs just graduated her masters program and is looking to move to DC in the fall after her internship. I'm sure my mom was secretly hoping I'd never find anyone and would stay in Boston.

But happy Mother's Day to everyone!!!! I hope you're all spoiled rotten!

OK got the curtains hung the spare bedroom...

They look pretty good, the bed should arrive tomorrow.....

I already have the bedspread for it, it matches the new curtains.

I just woke up! I don't know what I did yesterday but I'm really tired.

Today we have to buy a vanity and a loveseat. Yesterday we dug down to our current awful loveseat, and Monday we'll get it out of the house and put it on Craigslist. The new one is cool. It has a pocket to store "precious items". There is a couple electric outlets and USB ports. The reclining process is electric, and they are actually comfortable!

I also want to eat out somewhere that people aren't taking their mothers!

I'll post a link when I get to my computer. I'm still in bed on the tablet! We saw it at Sam's club shopping on Thursday. I asked if we could get one like it for the new house, and Fran said "Let's get rid of the other one and get it now!"
