Yeah, it was sad and tragic for sure. But, of course I still wonder how it happened and just how intoxicated he was, you know.

I haven't heard any more details yet from my DS's daycare provider so I don't know if they learned more about what happened or not.

I have to buy a present for a 4 year old birthday party, that I do not know. She is the Granddaughter of my DH's Step Dad.

All I got was she is more of a tomboy, not into girly stuff....

Less than $50...

We are going to the party for her, on Saturday, but we are only going b/c David's mom flew in for it with her Hubby.

We are just going, to see his mom.

OK my friend's son is about that age and his fave gift in the whole world is gift cards to subway... I have also known other kids loved getting McD cash. I would get a gender neutral lego set and some gift card like that. Or one of those cool toy benches for kids where you hammer the nails into it and stuff...

I was not super girly and my fave things were math workbooks and craft kits... not sure either of those would appeal to her or what a 4 year old could do
