Ack.
I'm not using the app to post for the first time in ages. Feels so strange...
Boos and Moos, I need some help!
I've posted before DH and I are thinking of buying new rings, as his doesn't fit, and he doesn't wear it. We put it on a necklace, but it kept smacking him in the face when he'd work out, so he'd take it off, forget it, rinse and repeat.
An additional problem is - he's a musician, and when they play shows, he has to take his ring off. (Left hand is his strumming hand for the bass, and it gets in the way/scratches instrument.)
I guess I made a face at it. (MOSTLY unintentionally.) But really. The boy gets propositioned at EVERY DANG SHOW he plays?! (Makes me secretly giggle. My sister makes fun of the way he looks when he plays. Says it's girly. Sheesh. Wish the women of America agreed with her...)
So he suggested, half jokingly, that he could wear it on his right hand. Granted, its not the 'proper' hand, but still. Then, he brightened up and say I could wear mine that way too - so we'd still match.
I'm... more traditional than I like to admit. I have my odd streaks, more so now that I'm with him. So I didn't really like the idea at first... but it's growing on me. It fits, we're anything but normal.

And it'd be nice to not worry about him taking the ring off for shows, and losing it. (It's happened to some musicians we know. No bueno.)
Just curious what you alls' opinion would be. I know that in the very least, I'll be bracing myself for the opinion of everyone I see. "WHY ARE YOU NOT WEARING A RING, WHAT HAPPENED?!!" And so on. ;-)
Plus side though, I could still wear my 'original' wedding ring on the finger it's fitted to. That's a plus. It's a pretty ring, so that makes me happy. Simple, but pretty.
