Are meal vouchers dated?

Evening all,

Has anyone ever used meal vouchers as part of their booking? Are they dated? We will spend one day in paris so was wondering if I could use two at two separate meals another day? (We will be half board) or even could we use one later in the week when we have checked out of our disney hotel?

they are not individually dated but just got you whole period on it, so you can use on any day you want...

all your dining vouchers will be printed with the duration of your stay on them (ie your check-in date to your checkout date, both inclusive) so you can use them in any way you like in that timeframe.

Ah lovely - thanks. For some reason as we check out on New Year's Eve the option to add the meals online wasn't given when I booked through the website - the live chat advisor said that it was because different options were available that day. I'm guessing that means every restaurant operates at an increased price on New Year's Eve? However I was hoping to use them at lunch as my little ones are too small to be kept up late on New Years just yet so ill ring and ask. Other than the free vouchers I've never paid for a meal plan at dlp before as previously we were shareholders - do you think it's worth it? Does it represent value for money?

I wouldn't pay for a meal plan, I think it's fine if it's thrown in with your holiday but I wouldn't pay for one - I think it's too restrictive and unless you stick rigidly to the set menus there's not really any savings to be had, just the knowledge that you've paid in advance.

Not all restaurants operate at inflated prices on NYE so you will still be able to eat lunch before you go - you can work out which ones do by looking at the special meals available to book in the brochure, the ones that aren't listed will be usual menus at usual prices.

No, I wouldn't pay to add a meal plan to your booking at DLP - its not worth the money.
