We are going in Dec. to WDW. We have purchaced a meal plan but we are not sure whether it will be worth it to keep it or not.

ppbly so if you are staying on property and dont plan on leaving Disney. If you are off property, you have so many other choices that it will pbbly be a lot better to buy your own meals. Dinning package is a really good convinience if you know Disney is all you want to do.

Can you eat on less than $35 a day per adult? And less than $10 a day per child? Including a couple drinks and snacks along the way? And tax and tip on everything? If you can, and are happy doing that and that's normal for you at Disney, then no - the package isn't worth it. But if you enjoy table service each day, and like to buy drinks and snacks in the park, then it's worth it.

DH and I will likely never get to take advantage of the dining plan, but we do spend more than $70 a day on food at Disney each and everytime between a counter service, table service, and a couple snacks and drinks along the way. It would def be worth it for us, but not everyone travels that way. Many are content eating counter service 3x a day on the go.

Check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com under dining to see what the typical prices are like to see =0

For us the dining plan is definitely worth it! I've gone over all the menus and it will surely save us $. Do a search on these boards and you will find plenty of positive posts about the dining plan.
