Asking for someone on there way down... There were already some when we were there the last week of August, but wondering if there are more as October is starting.

I just left the Fort this past Saturday, and there were decorated sites. I am sure more and more will be decorated as the month goes on.

The "stormtrooper" site was there, but I believe they are leaving tomorrow. They had to take the stormtroopers down for the hurricane and he told me they would not set them back up again before leaving. I asked if he would be back for Halloween and he said he would never stay for the day of Halloween again after a little girl was run over by a golf cart in front of his site last year.

It gets dark and crowded on halloween. Lots of kids running around in dark costumes. When I went last time, I was giving out glow bracelets from the golf cart. This was more for me so I could see the kids running back and forth instead of being a cool halloween gift. We will do the same this year. I ordered a thousand glow bracelets to give out.

We used to do Halloween, the last time we couldn't leave our site 2 nights in a row, way too crowded for us, no more, no thanks

We were in 300 last year and it was much calmer than I expected on Halloween. Was it our loop?

Have reservations in Premium this year and next year. Oct 29th-Nov 2nd.

Can anyone tell me if the sites are decorated again for Halloween? I want to take our granddaughter to see the decorations by horse drawn carriage ride. I want to know if I should just save our money. Plan on going after Hoop Dee Doo show.

Well the Fort was closed before Hurricane Milton passed through and all the guests had to pack up and vacate the premises.

The Fort is supposed to re-open today, Sunday 10/13, for guests to stay there. Given that we still have 2.5 weeks or so till Halloween, the sites will be decorated again and the closer your visit is to Halloween, the better.
