Are Magic Bands Waterproof?

So I'll take the plunge (no pun intended!) of making the dumbest DisBoards post today!

Just wondering if our MagicBands are waterproof/submergible? I.e...can we swim with them? Bathe? Go on water rides with them?

I'd hate to go all the way to AK from my MK resort and be denied entry!

yep.....DH wore his 24/7 for 2 weeks. Worked fine the next trip....and the next one.

Going off topic, but I'm excited for the future of MBs.

-Long range RF will allow Disney to see where/when they need to add additional capacity to rides (open up secondary track at SM)
-Lost children can be tracked down easily
-Allow Disney to better track guest movement
-Allow MDE app to see where your friends/family are via RF (GPS)

I know i know....privacy stuff... But it's Disney World, not 'real life.' Track my every move if you wish if I can wait 1/2 the time at a ride I'm all for it!

Yes they are waterproof, but people have reported that they do not float, they will sink. So be careful!

I'm just saying down the road. I'm sure they are stellar, but if you have an RF tag on someone it's almost fool proof (unless it comes off obviously)
