Are Hotter Shoes Really Great?

I posted this on the Community Board, but didn't get much of a response. Then I realized I should probably try here....go to the source, so to speak....

I have gotten a couple of catalogues from the Hotter Shoe Company in England and I'm wondering if anyone has tried their shoes. Are they as comfortable as advertised?

I'd really appreciate any information you could give me before I buy a pair.

I think they are a really regional brand in the UK. I came across their shops for the first time during the summer when I visited East Yorkshire. Unfortunately they did not have my size in stock for the shoes I wanted so I never got to try them.

I'm currently sat wearing a pair of their pixie boots, they are very comfy, my nan had several pairs and loved them

I never wear anything else! Winter, summer, leisure, dressy, boots, sandals. Not necessarily regional - although I think they are northern based. We have a great store here in Milton Keynes. First shop I came across was in Southport. You can generally see a selection in some garden centres, but of course, they don't carry a huge stock.

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. They have recently started stocking 'heels' which they never used to and these are very comfortable when you have to be a bit more dressy.
