Are HoJo Retro Rates ever offered in July

I tried to Google this and search here on the DIS, but I couldn't find any reference to past July retro rates being offered. Is it possible that they will be offered this July or should I stop looking?

I have been watching it though and I saw how they offered some May ones at the last minute. Is that how they usually come out for the busier seasons?

They have in the distance past, but I don't think they did last year. If they do have any dates available in the summer--they add them closer to the time of travel. Hojos sells out very quickly in the summer without the retro rates, so there is no need for them to offer them in the summer.

There are other coupon codes I can give you that will give you around 15% off (LKMC) or the AP rate if you have an AP (LNAP).

If you really want to stay there this July, I recommend making your reservations now, because they will go fast due to carsland opening.

Thanks for the info. We do have reservations with a 15% off code, so I think I've currently got the best deal possible. But those retro rates are a huge discount beyond what I currently have! We have two rooms and that would really add up.

I'll just keep watching then if there is a little hope.

I agree with PPs who believe the resort will be too popular this year to warrant such discounted hotel rates. In the past, I have gotten retro rates for some nights for stays in June, July, and August. I think the only way they would come up this year is very last minute, and I really doubt that it will happen. Doesn't hurt to keep looking though.

OUCH. Kid suite or regular room? I love Hojos, have stayed there over a dozen times, but I would think really hard and probably shop around before paying that much for anything there but their kid suite.

I looked into staying at HOJO this July but found the standard room to be way to expensive for me. It was $130 after my Ap discount. I was able to book the BWPPI for the same price and get a much shorter walk and free breakfast.

The special Entertainment/Retro rates are mainly available during low season, which summer is not.
Like PP mentioned, IF they release any dates, it will be a week or two prior.

Yeah, I hear you. We've only stayed in a place with exterior corridors once in the last 2 1/2 years, and that was Candy Cane Inn. It was ok, and we'll probably do it again if the price is right. I definitely prefer Hojo because I'm comfortable there, and our room choices have generally provided us with a relatively quiet experience which is important to me. I hope you applied some sort of discount to that room though. If nothing else, you can call them up and ask for the 15% DisBoard discount. Anything helps.

The last time we got and used the retro rate in July was in 2010. There definitely were never any available for our August dates last year. I really don't remember if there were many summer dates last year.

Hi everyone! Since Cars Land is opening this summer, there are a lot of people staying in the Disneyland area and it will definitely be a busy time for us. Retro rates in June and July might become available last minute as the dates get closer. In the past there were 1 or 2 days that would become available within the same week, for example you might see retro rates for June 1 and 2 pop up on June 1.
