Are Haunted Mansion portraits available?

I'm trying to talk the wife into a trip this year, but in case I can't convince her, I do have an acquaintance who goes down to WDW quite often.

At any rate, I'm wondering if the Haunted Mansion stretching room portraits are available at the park, whether as print on demand, or pre-printed. If so, what are prices like? I know they will vary depending on size and medium, but I'm looking for a ballpark figure, printed on plain paper. I see the smallest size (12" x 20") on Ebay for $30, plus $10 shipping each, and was just wondering if this is reflective of the cost at the park, or if the price is very exaggerated.

HM is my DH's absolute favorite. We purchased an old school HM canvas at the Animation Gallery in DHS. They had all kinds of posters/sketches, etc to purchase. There was a computer where you could choose your print... you could get it printed on a poster (which you can pick up that day or the next) or you can get a canvas which will be mailed to you. I want to say that Canvas was about $200, but don't hold me to it since I'm not 100% sure.

The staff there were really nice and helped figure out the difference between some of the finishes we could get or framing. There was also an artist there drawing Mickey and Friends. Oh it was so neat to just watch him draw a scene.

I got a Winnie the Pooh poster there as well. Oh it's a great place. I'd check it out even if you don't plan to buy. They have the best selection of Disney themed art imo, old school and modern, with several sizes and price points to choose from.

Not that I've ever seen...they don't even sell the attraction poster any longer.

I just asked my Dh. He seems so think the HM attaction poster/canvas we got in Jan 2010 was about $90.

The best place to try is the art store in Downtown Disney. They had alot of that type of stuff your talking about. Just ask a cast member to help you out as they can be printed. They come in plain paper(poster) as well canvas and sizes do vary.

I bought my four at http://www.phil-sears.com a couple years ago. They're the big prints, almost 5' tall a piece. I had them framed and LOVE them. If you can find them they're definitely worth the investment.

i love haunted mansion art. i try to add 1-2 pieces a yr to my collection.

I'm really looking for the haunted mansion tapestries, anyone have a lead on these?

We just returned from the World this past Thursday. We too are haunted mansion fans and were pleased to see an entire Haunted Mansion section at the printing kiosk in the Art of Disney on Mainstreet! They had the Stretching Portaits (each by themselves or all four together) available to order. I believe the smallest (12x20) were available on regular paper for about $22.00 each plus shipping. They also had the Duelers, the Mans, Medusa and others available. I would imagine the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney would have them available to print on demand. I hope you have fun and get the ones you want!! They've been dying to meet you :goodvibes

OMG, I need those! Although, my mom probably won't let me buy them, and I'm sure my roommate wouldn't want those hanging on my side of the dorm room, haha.

Ohmigosh. I need them. My partner is sure going to be surprised to see those turn up in our living room! XD

I LOVE the 5' tall pics...

I recently went to Disneyland to order the Canvas of all 4 portraits through the Disney Print on Demand system... I was told 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Today, after a week of trying to get a tracking number for my order, Disney finally called me back to tell me that the Art Group, who does the Print on Demand for Disney (as well as a bunch of Museums), informed Disney yesterday that they would not be fulfilling any orders from the last 3 weeks, and would not be accepting any orders for the foreseeable future.

I asked what they meant, and was told that it basically meant that the POD system is down for at least a few months. Totally bummed about this, cuz I was REALLY looking forward to that canvas print. It was going to be the centerpiece of my living room. =(

Anyone know of any sources to acquire maybe some High quality jpgs I can print some small versions out myself? At least to fill the void that currently envelopes an entire wall in my living room where that print was supposed to hang....

PS. if you've ordered from the POD system since july 10th, you'll need to contact Guest Services for a refund.

wow.. and I was going to treat myself on my next trip and i always put off buying them in the past
