OP, on another note, it cracked me up when I saw your name on here. When DS20 was little, I called him monkey boy a lot!! He was such a little ham and could always make me laugh--still does.
Well, if opinions on the DISboards are any indication, I think there's a lot of "goatee lovin'" going on! And I think it should be added to the list of proven aphrodisiacs!
Maybe I can play devil's advocate, I think for the most part they look anything
but attractive.
Some guys can get away with it, and it has a lot to do with the style of it and their face but most of the time I just think why, in my head. And out loud sometimes to my group of friends when we're together.
And this isn't meant to be mean toward anyone because essentially, I don't care what anyone does to their appearance. But that doesn't mean I can't get a good laugh about it with my friends.
DH also has a beard and does ask me if I want him to go back to the goatee. I tell him that I think he looks sexy in the goatee, but the decision is up to him. It's a lot of maintenance (a.k.a. fine detailing when shaving) for him to keep up with the goatee that it's just easier for him going with the beard and letting that grow in.
