Are FastPasses still available for EE by 2:00?

I'm trying to plan my itinerary and I was wondering if FastPasses for Expedition
Everest are usually still available by 2 or 2:30 in the afternoon on busy days. If so, what sort of return times do you get? Also, what are the lines in the afternoon like without FastPast?

This is a hard question to answer and I'm sure you'll get a variety of responses. It depends on the size of the crowd, the day of the week, the time of the year, and what time the AK opens and closes on that day.

Personally, I would not count on FastPasses being left if the AK is closing at 5 or 6. That does not mean that there will DEFINITELY be none left; I'm saying I wouldn't plan on it.

Whatever other responses you get, just remember... as they say in the brokerage commercials, "past performance is no guarantee of future results!"

Just got back from visiting Disney last week - I wouldn't count on EE FastPasses being available after about 1pm - we were getting 3pm FastPasses at around 10am. The stand-by lines easily exceed 1 hour anytime after the first hour of the day. The singles line is the way to go - you'll only wait about 15 minutes per back-and-forth loop and groups of 2 or 3 may even end up on the same train. Otherwise plan to be at AK for the rope drop, then be sure to follow the CMs leading the group through Asia to get to EE (if you go thru Dinoland you'll end up at the FastPass machines, not the head of the stand-by line).

. . . if the moon is in the right position

2) No
. . . if it is warm and humid
. . . if it is crowded
. . . if people want to ride and not view other attractions

In other words, don't count on it.

If you find there are fastpasses available, consider it a good break and take it. But don't count on it.
