Are Dining Plan mugs waiting at check-in?

We're checking in at the Fort Wilderness Campground next weekend. Can someone tell me if the quick service dining plan mugs will be waiting for us at the check-in desk? Or do we have to go all the way to the refillable stations to buy them?

You have to go to the food court area and pick them up there - youll need all your room keys/passport to the world cards to get one for each member of your party who is getting one.

You pick the mugs up at Trails End by the marina.

Can someone explain how this mug thing works? We are staying in a cabin and have the free dining, regular dining credits. Do we get mugs? And to refill, is that free or does it take a snack credit or what? Thanks.

When are you staying there? If it is this yr then no you dont get the mug with your dining plan. If it is next yr then yes you will get one mug for each person on the dining plan. You get the mug at the TE and then you can use it for unlimited refills for the length of your stay. You can get the refills and the drink stations at the fort. I a know there is one at Trails end and I believe there is another one at another location. But someone else will have to let you know about that one. You can buy one if you want to.

Or can we take the aluminum water containers for drinking water?

Yes you can purchase a mug without DDP.
