Are CPs in FSFB able to be a hostess at Cinderella's Royal Table?

I've been looking at the roles a lot and I've decided when my time comes I'll probably mark down FSFB. I know you can request a location, but that doesn't necesarilly mean you'll get it. I'd be happy with any restaurant as long as I can get in the program, but it can't hurt to try and get a restaurant I love. :) I would love to work at Cinderella's Royal Table, as that is my favorite restaurant at WDW b/c I love being in the castle. So I was wondering, are CPs in FSFB able to be a hostess at Cinderella's Royal Table?

I don't see why not.

The only Disney-Owned and Operated restaurant that I know does NOT utilize Disney Internships & Programs Participants is Victoria and Albert's, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

I believe Abby requested Cinderella's Royal Table. So I think it's possible- that would be an awesome place to work in FSFB, for sure.

I'm not gonna say I'm 100% right, but I don't think so...there's a huge waiting list of full timers who want to work there, especially as servers. I'm guessing that those people who are waiting would take a hostess job just to get in.

But hey I could be wrong:confused3 lol...but when I would take my *wishing well* (potty breaks) in their break room, I never once saw a CP, only full/part time people.

When I was on the CP I used to see a girl walking around in the CRT outfit - flowery skirt, blue vest. So I think you can. I think you should definitely request it!

I saw a girl from CRT at the bus stop the other day. So CPs definitely can work there

It doesn't exactly work that way. Otherwise, we wouldn't have anywhere near as many Florida-Site DI&P Participants because we could fill in many open positions off FT/CR Skill Code (Transfer Waiting) Lists.

Each area that uses Disney Internships & Programs Participants determines the proper mix of active Full Time, Casual Regular, Casual Temporary and DI&P Participant Cast Members with a goal of ensuring maximum efficient use of labour budgets, appropriate coverage for weekends and vacations, as well as full compliance with Local, State and Federal Labor Laws, Company Policy, and our Collective Bargaining Agreements (where applicable).

Open D&IP positions are generally filled in by incoming D&IP Participants, not by regular-status Cast Members. Likewise, when Full Time/Casual Regular/Casual Temporary Cast Members leave the Company, the open position is generally filled by a New Hire- or Transfer-FT/CR/CT Cast Member, not by D&IP Participants.

On occassion, some areas do play with their ratios for whatever reason. For example, earlier this year, Room Operations (Front Desk & Concierge) recently increased their Full Time mix. As such, many open WDWCP/WDWICP Resort Guest Service H/H and WDWCP/WDWICP Concierge H/H positions that opened up upon departure of Fall 2009 Participants were filled with Full Time Cast Members, rather than being reoffered to new Participants.

Yes, CPs work there. My friend/roommate does/did. There were also others CPs there.

There is a huge staff at CRT, since its open for 3 meals.
