Are codes for POFQ hard to get?

I've tried a few now with no luck. Since POFQ is a smaller resort, can I conclude that there very few rooms there allowed for the codes so my chances of calling fast enough to get one are very slim?

I really want to stay at POFQ our first trip, but next time we'll probably try a different resort and by golly I'll get a code if it kills me!

When we went back in Nov 2006, (thanksgiving time) we rec'd a discount on two rooms, using a code. Keep trying!

I booked POFQ for October with the "infamous" code.

I got 2 POFQ standard rooms at the AP rate last March, at $109 per room. I reserved them in January, probably the day after the AP code came out. You have to really watch for codes when they first come out. I've found that if you wait even a week, you'll find certain resorts are not available.

We were unable to get the special rates in January at PO-FQ and ended up staying at AKL for only $300 difference.

It may also be worth it to join AAA for $65 a year...I stayed there last summer with the AAA discount. I was very happy with POFQ!

It sure seems that way. I haven't had any luck with any of the recent codes for May. They are always sold out for PORFQ. I called for the ZHE the day after it was posted, but no luck. AAA was out when I called too in Feb.
