My bag seems to have been delayed or taken (thankfully DW and kids bags made it) from my flight that arrived this AM

We have a car picking us up at 9:30 tomorrow at hotel, but that won’t allow for shopping in AM if it doesn’t come. I’m trying to determine how much I want to buy tonight if I don’t hear anything and what I can get on ship.

There's a few things, but not much selection.

Swim trunks! Yes, my DH tore his swim trunks. This was on the Dream last summer, but the small swim shop upstairs had really nice men's swim trunks with a small white mickey head sewn into the lower hem. They were not a bad price either.

Otherwise... some pricey, but nice polos etc. Nothing huge in terms of selection

I agree - buy what you'll need. You can always take it back if your bag arrives. If it doesn't, you make a claim. Actually, what has the airline told you about being able to claim purchases? They often give you something to tide you over until your bag is found.

Sweetie Uber asap to nearest Walmart/Target to get what you NEED, and you will sleep much better tonight and enjoy the next 24 hrs. Just realized you are a guy. Sorry. You’ll be fine wearing trunks for a few days. Lol!

Did you have Disney tags on your luggage? I assume not since your wife and children have their’s.
If you put down Disney ports address as your destination Disney will eventually get that to you at the next port. Contact Disney and tell them of your problem so that they can give you the exact address the airline should be given. In the meantime I’m with the above poster. Grab some tighty whiteys from Walmart for you go.
Call Disney will give you the best advice this happens a lot more than you think.

Hadn’t put disney tags yet. Balancing letting kids do their stuff at Disney springs right now with me being paranoid.

Getting more paranoid by the minute as I realize our plans for formal pictures, etc are in doubt. On a normal annual disney trip it’s all t-shirts/jeans/shorts in my bag.
This trip, 2 high end suits, shoes, ties, etc.

Basically my entire “formal” wardrobe. I’m hoping it’s a switched bag, as someone didn’t claim a bag that looked exactly like mine. But it’s been over 5 hours now without a word.

Still at DS?? Uniglo has great stuff and cheap!! Also from there the buena vista outlets are a 10 min drive. Uber over there!

I beg you to call DCL and tell them your problem. I think they might get you a tuxedo to help with formal night. Of shoes end up a problem have the kids in front of you while you wear black socks. DCL has people just for this problem handling the same problem for several others today I’m sure. Also do you have a photo of your luggage? It helps.

Does anyone have the DCL number for him?

Wait, are you saying that you think it's okay to call a woman you don't know "sweetie," but because he's a guy you'll (sort of) apologize?

Yeah, there were some clothes in the shops onboard but I wouldn't count on being able to get a full wardrobe (especially shorts or trousers) -- okay in the time I was typing this reply you replied again. Great news! Glad you'll have your bag!!

You learn from your mistakes. My wife and I always take two bags one bag a piece. But we divide our clothes up evenly. The t shirts I bring half will be in one bag the other half the other bag. And so on and so on for each different clothing. You can’t do nothing about it now but I’m guessing you will do this from now on. Hopefully this will help out other people reading this.

I'll have to keep this in mind the next time I'm traveling with my housemate instead of solo. I generally just make sure I have the bare minimum in my carry-on -- as long as I've got sleepwear and one or two outfits in there, it's just a matter of doing laundry a couple times. It wouldn't be great (and you'd miss out on things like formal night and Pirate night if your dress-up stuff was in the lost bag), but at least then you're not stuck either wearing your traveling clothes all week or buying a whole new wardrobe at your destination.

I do the same when I pack for my dd and I. My dh still packs all of his stuff in one bag though.
