Are Cast Members eligible?

Does anyone know if CMs are eligible for the dining plan when vacationing on property?

CMs have their own version of the DDE card. If they book a discounted room then typically the DDP is not avaialble.

They can book a MYW package with a ticket and purchase dining... but that will probably cost a whole lot more than just paying OOP for food.

It used to be that you got 20% off food in selected resturants. You just show your photo id card that Disney gives every CM. When you book your vacation ask. Im no longer a CM but when I was I would often just go "backstage" and get food at the commisary for much cheaper depending on what I wanted to eat.

Actually, cast members can use the DDP. There is currently a promo that offers the DDP added to a room reservation for only $20.50 per adult and $10.99. This deal is effective 1/8/07-3/7/07.
