Are Buffets still "all you can eat"?

We've enjoyed numerous all-you-can-eat buffets at Disney over the years. Being able to go through the line to get something else is the only reason we can justify paying these prices.

We have a reservation for 12/29 for 14 of us at Crystal Palace! I was just readying through my e-mail confirmation, and it has something odd noted at the bottom. It says "At Family Style or Buffet locations Guest will only receive one meal, this will not be all-you-care-to-eat. Guests will be charged the regular buffet or all-you-care-to-eat price."

Does this mean we can only go through the line one time now for the $45 or more? We were just at this restaurant in August, and everything seemed the same. Maybe I just never noticed that wording before. I'd just like a heads-up before shelling out that much money.

Thanks!

Yep, as PP has said, this refers to the kosher meals which come individually wrapped and are ordered special, 1 per person.
The buffet itself is still AYCE.

As the others have all said, the buffets are still "all you care to eat." But with the quality of most of the buffets at WDW (as with most out of Disney as well) one plate is all you may want to eat. (if even that much) :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

To each their own! Just wonder why anyone would pay their prices if they felt the quality was not there at 'most' of the dining places. I sure wouldn't if I did not enjoy them.

I hope they're not as bad as everyone says they are! I've got some buffet ADR's for January! :D

Many will say, "It's not the food but the character experience." So you would be surprised how many are willing to pay big time $$$$ for subpar food all for the sake to get a picture with Mickey or Minnie. But I will agree with you, to each their own. I will not attack anyone's enjoyment of buffets. I'm just of the opinion that mass produced food placed on serving tables for droves of people just is not the same quality as something made to order by chefs. But hey, that is just me. :goodvibes I will say IMHO, that Boma is the exception and offers some very good buffet food. I will also say that I do enjoy some of the buffets for breakfast, it's just outside of Boma I don't when it comes to lunch/dinner.

Buffets offer choice and the good ones have pretty good food. Boma is always excellent and Cape May is pretty decent as well. 'Ohana has the advantage of food coming to you more as you order it rather than sitting out.

Thank you all so much! I feel much better now. We decided to splurge, figuring a sit down meal for 14 might be our only bit of sanity battling Christmas crowds! Glad I was reading that wrong. Wow! Almost one week away!
