Are bldgs 27-29 done at OKW?

Hey Linda!!! I can't answer your question but am also curious as we arrive on Jan 15 and also hope for this area. I would LOVE bldg 27 (can you put in a good word for me? lol) We will be in a 2 bedroom and this is my BIL, SIL and newphew's first time at OKW. I think it would be a great location for my nephew...

When we were there 2 weeks ago I was told that 22, 27-29 and 56 still needed renovation and that nothing would be done over the holiday timeframe. The renovation is supposed to be completed this spring.

We're arriving at OKW Jan 17 - maybe we'll bump into you! Also hoping for a renovated building. Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive list of which buildings are renovated? We just requested a first floor or elevator as my mom is joining us and cannot manage stairs.

A list would be a good idea- of course nothing is for sure anyway it is just a request

I was told the same thing, Rob, except they didn't tell me about 22. That's a GV building, and so is 29.

And I can verify that 56 has not been renovated. We stayed there in early Dec.

I stayed in building 28 once and hated it. Because it's on the fairway, there are trees blocking the view and the room was dark because of it. Looking over at building 29, it was even worse, trees were actually right up to the porch.

Those are my two least favorite buildings too!

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for the info about bldgs 27-29. I had really been wanting those, but now I'm not sure. Bldg 62 is on my list maybe we'll get that one instead.

It's funny... I called and was told that all the renovations were done. Also, I'm not a dvc member, but one of the guides called to try to give me some info and convince me to buy and in conversation she also told me that all of OKW was renovated.

My favorites are water views on Turtle Pond Road, 32, 38 or 43.

My favorites that are close to walk to HH without being in that category are 15 and 16. I especially like 15. It's kind of midway between both HH and Miller's Road bus stops, and a very easy walk to HH as well. Plus, it's off the beaten path a bit, so a little less noise. Nice golf and woods views too. 16 has very nice golf views and a pond and fountain in front of it.
