I guess it's a little to late to be asking this, but I was just wondering how the beds are at the GF.

Are they soft or hard as rocks?

Thanks!!

I read a review that they were very comfy. I sure hope so!

We had a split stay this August with the GF and Dolphin.

We stayed at the Dolphin for the first few nights of our vacation. They have the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds that are FABULOUSLY comfy.

When we moved to the GF, I was pleasantly surprised that the beds are almost as comfy. No thick down comforter, but still very nice sleep.

I have a FABULOUS, 21 inch thick pillow top mattress at home and the GF was almost as comfy for me. I think they must have brought in new mattresses fairly recently. I did not used to sleep this comfortably at the Poly (last summer - hard as a rock) or the CR (another hard rock). I used to get neck aches every trip!

Sweet Disney dreams -

I read late last year that they had replaced all of their mattresses. I don't know if that's true, but the beds sure were comfy when I stayed there last October and this July.

I thought they were very comfy & I've been thoroughly spoiled by the Swan/Dolphin Heavenly Bed.

We've actually found all of the beds we've slept in at Disney to be very comfortable, including the Grand Floridian. I'm sure that running around the parks all day contributed, but I've had some of my best nights' sleeps while at Disney resorts! :cloud9:

I sleep very well at the GF, which I don't normally do in a hotel.

As SeaSpray said, I could just be exhausted!

Extremely comfortable! I believe it was the Stearns & Foster pillowtop.

I have a pillow top mattress at home, and they're not quite that soft but they're pretty close. Then again, I'm so exhausted (being a park commando) that I could probably sleep about anywhere!
If this is your first stay at the GF, request a dormer room. The vaulted celing makes it seem like you're staying in an attic playroom!
