Are All Menu Items Included

I'm sorry if the answer is right in front of my face...

We plan on getting the Deluxe Dining Plan this fall. My only experience with the dining plan is about six years ago when Disney first introduced it. At the time, there were certain menu items that were not included in the plan. Does this still hold true?

In most cases there aren't any items that are excluded from the Dining Plan. However, there are a few exceptions (that I can think of):
-The prix fixe at Flying Fish might not be included
-Only the basic and specialty pizzas are available at Via Napoli (you have to pay extra for additional toppings on the make it yourself pizza)
-The specialty drinks (like the aqua fresco at VN) do not count
-A couple of the sushi platters at CAliGrill only count as entrees
-Some of the places will require two people to order the "for two" appetizers (I know VN does)

There are probably others, but those are the ones that come to mind.

In addition to the above, the feasts at Marrakesh have a surcharge when paying with the plan (something along the lines of $7-$10 or so).

Most items on the menu are a la carte (opposed to part of a fixed price menu), so I'm guessing you meant items likes separate sides. Those are not included in the dining plan credit.

Yes, I meant basically sides that are not included as part of your entree. We've done the deluxe plan many times and were never told we couldn't have a particular entree because of the price. Steak, lobster everything included...yummy
