Are all Disney resort perks fair?

I know you must be joking... but , if not, how would you get into the room without their magic band? see, disney is one step ahead of you! thought of everything!

Yes, I was kidding....kind of. I just hate picturing a paid room sitting empty for a week when so many people can only dream to able to afford that room (even all stars). It would definitely be dodgy but they could probably swing by the front desk and request an extra room key card or a replacement magic band or something. Definitely a lot of trust involved and could only be done amongst friends.

No, but new, more interesting lives are for sale at the "Get A Life" kiosk between China and Germany in WS...
I don't know about that kiosk... You've heard about the ancient Chinese proverb/curse " may you live in interesting times" sounds to me like the get a life kiosk would offer a similar experience!:confused3

I don't dispute people remember things. I do because I have an eye for detail and don't need to search out posts, but to actually admit you comb through posters history to somehow throw it back in their face is creepy and borders on stalking and harassment.

WHOA. I just skimmed through this thread, but this post jumped out at me and I had to respond. Accusing someone of serious criminal activity because they use the search function on an anonymous Internet forum is going TOO far.

I don't know which post prompted this comment, but I am of the opinion that one should own up to previous posts. If one contradicts oneself later and is called out for it they have two choices: ignore it or explain the contradiction. What exactly is the big deal? Again, it's anonymous. And participation is completely voluntary.

I have not read through all the posts on this thread but it has been interesting to read what I have!

This thread caught my attention because we are pass holders and our best friends (and many of our close friends) are also pass holders. We live about 45 minutes from Disney and spend lots of time at Disney together. We go for day trips all the time but we also go for 3 - 4 night trips many times throughout the year. The difference is our family LOVES staying on site and we have no desire at all to stay any where else, even though we have the luxury to visit whenever we want. Our friends, on the other hand, cannot understand this. They think we are crazy for paying Disney prices. We have had to say good bye to our best friends many time because we get to take advantage of EMH's. Do I feel bad, no way! Since they have chosen not to stay on site they know that they don't get this privilege. They made their choice to stay somewhere else and they are ok with that. They could have stayed on site and got the perks but they choose not too because it doesn't make sense to their family.

Disney is a company who is out to make money (and they make lots off of me). One way for them to make LOTS of money is by offering things to entice people to stay at their resorts. The perks are offered to everyone (by staying on-site) but some choose not to take advantage of them(off-siters) but the opportunity is there for all.
