Are ADR's needed for a Nov trip?

I will be visiting in Nov 08 (WOOHOO), and was wondering, due to the fact that the week I'll be there (Nov 16-23) isn't considered too busy (wasn't too bad when I was there the same week in 2002, but that was before the dining plan became a hit). So I was wondering in advance, will I still need to make a lot of ADR's for that week, or can I wing it? Most likely I will make them, but just thought I'd ask here anyhow.

I would highly recommend ADR's for anytime of the year. The traditional "slow" times are no longer slow. Crowd levels are smaller at those times, but with larger percentages of the guests using DDP it makes the restaurants packed to capacity more often than not. Pick out some of the places you really want to go to and make the ADR's; later you can cancel if you decide it is not going to work for you on a specific day (but be sure to make the cancelation for the sake of others).

Since the DDP came into effect, I would make ADR's at all times of the year. It used to be where you could call in the AM and get a reservation in most places, but that is no longer the case and I would not chance it at any time.

We'll be there at the same time and have found that some of the ADR's and times we want are booked!! Some of the slower restaurants still have availability, but maybe not at peak times. Get on the phone and make as many as you can before it's to late

I would never go to WDW without dining reservations, no matter what time of the year...

Back in the late 80's early 90's we used to just walk up to places and get in but sadly those days are long gone.

We went last November and while the parks were dead (we went the week after Jersey Week, haha!), we were sure glad we had our ADR's!
