are ADR's affected by hotel cancellation?

A friend of mine asked me this question; I had no idea the answer so I thought what better place to ask than here She booked her ADR's 190 days out as she was planning on staying at the Pop and booked accordingly. A friend of hers offered the use of her house, and she wants to do that as it would be easier for her and her family. Are the ADR's still good since she would be cancelling the hotel reservation, since she booked them at 190 days?

I am pretty sure that the dining ressies are not linked to the room ressie. Yes you use that to make them, but cancelling your room or vacation does not cancel your dining ressies.

I actually asked this of the CM I was on the phone with the other day. I am trying to get ressies for our werek in August b/c we booked "late." I want to search at the 45 day mark b/c that's when people would cancel w/o penalty for their trip so...... I asked the CM if those people's ressies get cancelled with the resort package and he said no. He said that ADR have to be cancelled separately for that exact reason. People may still want to eat at those places, but not staying OP. Hope this helps.
