Are 2 bedroom units hard to get at the 7 month window?

I've never needed a 2 bedroom unit before, so I don't know if they always get booked up fast or not.
I want to book a BWV in May 2004, 16th to the 20th, but I am afraid that there may not be any by the time I can book. I would go with WLV, my home resort, but I'll have 3 20somethings with me and they like being close to the action of the boardwalk.
Should I worry?

I'd book VWL at the 11-month window just to be sure. Then, at 7 months you may be able to switch, or at a minimum, put your name on a waitlist. Between BWV and BCV, I'd bet you've got a pretty good shot at getting the 2BR, either at the 7-month window or by waitlist.

One thought...with your 20-somethings....having OKW within walking distance of DTD, they may actually benefit from being closer to PI (if they are 21-somethings ;) ). You may want to consider OKW as a reasonable alternative and even save a few points. :)

Enjoy.

I have never had any trouble getting a 2BR at 7 months. I got a 2BR last summer at BWV at for the week after July 4th and have one for this Halloween at BCV. Both ressies were made at 7 months. I did make ressies at my home resort, VWL, as a precaution. As Spiceycat said, studios seem to go the quickest.

I can say that for this upcoming November, I got a 2 bedroom at BWV at the 7 month window with no problem. I thought it was going to be tough, since it is during the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, and also during the "infamous" New Jersey week.

mbw12 - did you get a preferred or standard view. I got on the wait list for a 2BR at BWV for the same time, but I would like a stanard view because it would only be using 2 points more than the current ressie I have at OKW.

They called me & said they had preferred but DH & I decided that if we couldn't get the standard we'd pass. :( It's so hard to pass it up but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a standard becomes available. We'll see.

Just from cruising the Dis I would guess that smaller units go faster. We will always need a 2 bedroom for our family so good question. Good Luck! Lacee

It has been reported on these boards that the studio's go first, then 1 BR and then the 2 BR. GV's might go at the 11 month window, except at OKW where there are more of them. I just tried to book a studio at BCV for July 29 and there were none available but they oferred me a 2 BR. We did get a studio at BWV at less that 3 months out.

Melsmice-
We got a preferred view. I didn't even try for a standard view, but I am sure they were all gone anyway. Hopefully, your wait list will come through....and maybe we will see each other there!!
