I was searching Youtube and found an animated movie called Arctic Dogs and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen it? It was made by a company called Entertainment One and debuted in 2019. How I found out about Arctic Dogs was it featured the voice of Jeremy Renner from Hawkeye as the arctic fox Swifty and not only does he voice Swifty Jeremy also performs songs on the Arctic Dogs soundtrack and two of Jeremy's songs were released as singles. The movie itself has a great message but I can't figure out why it failed in theaters in 2019. Was the movie Arctic Dogs expected to become a hit when it debuted in theaters?

I think Arctic Dogs was one animated movie that should've gotten more promotion because it is a cool animated movie and I think the main reason why it failed in theaters was it should've been better as a straight to DVD release. But I think the main celebrity that really wanted it to be a success was Jeremy Renner because he was the main celebrity of that movie and the other celebrities like Heidi Klum and James Franco got very little interviews and promotion in Arctic Dogs and it tells me that Jeremy Renner had a hand in developing and creating Arctic Dogs. But I do love the music in Arctic Dogs because it's fun

The movie itself has a great message but I can't figure out why it failed in theaters in 2019.

I think it was just bad timing - it came out the same month as Frozen II.

I don't remember seeing any press about it at the time, but I just watched the trailer online, and it looks cute.

I haven't gotten the songs from Arctic Dogs out of my head and I was VERY excited to hear Jeremy Renner sing in the soundtrack of Arctic Dogs and every morning his song Sign from Arctic Dogs is the first song I listen to when I do my morning music routine and the other song that Jeremy sings in Arctic Dogs Believer is my favorite too and I have even created my own dance routine to the song Sign as well and it drives my mom crazy and she cannot go into my room in the mornings because she will hear Jeremy Renner sing and she says to me "Gosh Dodger would you mind turning Jeremy off or lower the volume?" And I tell Mom "Let Jeremy sing please he's my sweetheart" but she loves the way I dance to his songs in Arctic Dogs. I sure do wish merchandise would've been made for Arctic Dogs because I would enjoy having a Swifty plushie to snuggle in my arms. I do want to buy Arctic Dogs myself but have never seen it on sale anywhere. Do you know where I can find Arctic Dogs for sale?

I agree with you PollyannaMom Arctic Dogs is a cute movie and I didn't even know it existed until I was looking at Jeremy Renner videos on Youtube and clips of Arctic Dogs kept popping up and I decided to see what the hype was about and that's when I knew Jeremy Renner provided Swifty's voice. And when I saw part of Arctic Dogs it was truly a wonderful movie but every time Swifty talked or came on screen I sighed and blushed because I knew it was Hawkeye as Swifty. The soundtrack is also fun but seems to be not for sale because I want to get it just to hear Jeremy Renner sing. And I believe that there is also a cartoon series of Arctic Dogs that's an Amazon Prime exclusive as well

I wish that Arctic Dogs would be put on sale or shown on Tubi. Because I adore seeing clips of Arctic Dogs on Youtube and the movie itself has a great message for children about never giving up on a hard task even if you think it's too hard for you to do. But Swifty is a terrific role model for everyone because of his smart personality and great way of thinking and not to mention he's such a cute arctic fox and hearing Hawkeye provide his voice is so adorable and makes Swifty more cuter than ever

Arctic Dogs is also my favorite movie too LuvOrlando and I have been seeing clips of it on Youtube and I have to say Swifty is my sweetheart and I also adore the songs by Jeremy Renner and it's a real shame that Arctic Dogs didn't get the promotion it deserved because it really is so fun to see and every time Swifty appears in Arctic Dogs he makes me melt and sigh but I disliked the villain in Arctic Dogs because he was such a bully to Swifty but Heidi Klum was superb as Swifty's crush Jade because she really did care for Swifty a lot and Jade reminds me of myself and the friendship and love Jade and Swifty share is so wonderful and Jade was so proud of Swifty and she was a hard worker. In fact because of Arctic Dogs the slogan "Arctic Strong" has become my mantra and I sometimes say it when I have a hard task and when I feel sad and need to feel brave at times

Arctic Dogs is on Netflix? I would love to see that but I don't have Netflix at this time. But I do LOVE the soundtrack but for some reason the Arctic Dogs soundtrack album is not sold in any stores just like Jeremy Renner's two albums are. But as I mentioned in this thread Jeremy Renner's song in this movie Sign is my favorite song and I created my own dance routine to it as I play it every morning while I wake up. But I sure wish that there was a Swifty plush fox that could've been made for Arctic Dogs when the movie was in theaters

Well, you could buy the DVD or Blu-ray at Amazon, or rent or buy it on Prime video.

They also have an MP3 version of the soundtrack available at Amazon.

I did see a custom-made Swifty plush on Etsy, but it was very expensive ($335!).

As I said in my recent post I have created my own dance routine to the song Sign from Arctic Dogs and I do it by raising both arms back and forth and when the chorus says "Put my hands up to the ceiling" I raise my arms and head. My mom thinks my Jeremy Renner /Swifty dance routine is amazing and she always gets a kick out of me doing it. I sure wish that there would be an Arctic Dogs II being made because it would be so neat to see what new adventures Swifty and Jade will have together

An Arctic Dogs II sequel would really be cool and I think it would have a neat storyline. But I think why Arctic Dogs was a failure in theaters was because it simply didn't have promotion for it like merchandise and other stuff. But how Heidi Klum got cast as Jade is beyond me because Heidi Klum is talented and should do more cartoon voices. But I love watching Swifty in Arctic Dogs and he's my crush because he never gives up and believes he can do anything even if people don't always agree with him sometimes
