Do the machines take quarters or tokens? Should I bring rolled quarters for the machines or dollars to buy tokens?

Thanks!

They take quarters and some of them are free. However I have 2 very addicted video game players for kids... they never stepped foot inside of the arcade! there was too much else to do. :sunny:

Most of them take quarters. I remember that when I was younger our "non park" days were spent in the arcades. They are nothing like they used to be but still fun for kids. Most of the arcades have change machines too but I wouldn't rely on those, because half the time they're out of order. If you are planning on spending time in the arcades, i'd bring a few rolls of quarters for that purpose.

Just returned from CR (this past Saturday) - their arcade now uses a type of card to play games. There is a machine you purchase your card from - looks like a credit card - you can purchase as many credits as you want and then you just swipe the card at each game to play. I purchased each of my kids one card as you can refill them. Each game required different amounts of credits to play - however, once you swiped your card it would tell you how many credits you have left. Was alot easier than carrying around alot of quarters!
