Arcade?

I was just WONDERing how the arcade works. We sail on April 25th. My Ds ages 12 and 8 love arcades. Are there change machines for the arcade. Do we bring our own quarters or do they use tokens? Thanks for your replies

Hi-you bring your KTTW card and swipe it in a machine, then choose the amount you want-$5, $10 or $20 and that amount is charged to your onboard account. A card, similar to an atm card, is then produced by the machine. You use this card at each game by inserting it into the slot on the game. It deducts the amount from the card, and give you the balance.

From what I've learned on these boards, the machines in the arcade accept only an "Arcade Card" which you purchase at either the arcade itself, or at Guest Services. There are different values of card you can buy, for example a $5 card, $10 card, $20, etc. You have to pay for the arcade cards using your Key to the World card. Once the arcade cards' value has been used all up, I'm not sure if you have to buy new cards, or can just have more money added to the original card, kind of like the "reloadable" cards that many stores use these days.

Dreamer is correct.

The cards can only be purchased at separate machines within QuarterMasters (the arcade) and look like the change machines you would commonly see in an arcade.

Once you're done with the arcade card, simply toss it. Into the garbage can, that is.
