just wondering if anyone has ever used arbor mist for the toast???? right now we are using Asti but its like $38 a bottle plus tax and gratuity so i was thinking Arbor Mist would have to be less money;) what do you think???

holy moley, $38?? For Martini & Rossi Asti? I thought it was $18, which is atrocious b/c you can get 2 bottles at costco for $14, but $38?

LOL...... tell me about it, thats what i said when i saw my budget:rotfl: thats why i am considering Arbor Mist because i can get that for like 7bucks LOL so i am curious what they will charge:rolleyes:

I know that at DL, there is a $10/bottle corking fee if you bring in your own wine. We just had Disney do it for convenience's sake. I don't know what the corking fee is at WDW, but if you got your Asti at costco, even with a $10 corking fee + gratuity you would be coming out ahead...

We just had a corkage fee added to our budget. Its up to $20/bottle. We wanted to have something special for DF and myself, and everyone else to use existing drinks.

thanks for your help guys..... my planner is looking into the arbor mist for me;) i would bring my own, but i just dont feel like going through the trouble because we are flying down from jersey and it just wouldnt be worth the hassle:headache: i will let u know what that price comes in at:rotfl: esp since i can get it here for like 7bucks so i figure double for disney which is about where the asti came in at even more than double actually:scared1: lol thanks for your help:goodvibes

I want to keep up with this and see what happens. I don't even think people like champagne enough to make it worth it. There were so many "undrunk" glasses of champagne at my brother's wedding it was sad.

Just sent you a PM.

By the way, I have been meaning to tell you I love the pic of you and DF in your sig! So cute!

Have you considered a cheaper sparkling wine (sorry, I'm not a fan of Arbor Mist and don't even know if they have a sparkling wine). The one that I get for New Years every year is Ballatore. It is cheaper and I find that my friends always prefer that over the expensive (like to Moet & Chandon that I had for y2k)

Ballatore tastes the best too!!! My friends loved it this year at New Years and WHAT a bargain!

We thought about just using non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider -- but I think I read that even that is around $24 per bottle!!!!

thanks everyone i will def look into the ballatore. but like someone else has said it is $24 a bottle for cider:rotfl: and then there is 20%gratuity and sales tax on that:sad2:

I just thought of something, as I checked my e-mail and saw an e-mail from bevmo...

What about shipping down your wine? I wonder if you could get is either shipped to your hotel or to FTW (doubtful, but you never know), then you can get what you like, providing it is still feasible with the corking fee/gratuities...

Just a thought since I was reading another thread here somewhere about getting things shipped to you at the resorts...crocs probably! LOL
