I would welcome all opinions on the Arabian Nights dinner. We are planning an Orlando visit in April and was knocking around the idea of eating here. Tell me all about it!!!!!!!!!! Thanks.

My Girlfriend & I went in October 99, we got it free as we travelled with Virgin to the US. We did not enjoy the show (not really our type of thing) and the food was cold & not great.
The next day we renamed it Arabian Sh*tes due to our many trips to the toilet that day, will never go again.
JMHO of course ;)

ROFL!!! Oh thank you. I want to hear every opinion-good or bad!:D Keep them coming folks!

My dh and I went in Nov. 1997 on our honeymoon. It was a last minute impulse stop and we enjoyed it. I'm not big on horse shows or dinner shows in general but I thought the food was very good and the show was very entertaining!

Maybe it's changed since we were there but we enjoyed it 5 years ago!

We went about 6 years ago. I have mixed feelings about it. My sons were 8 & 11 and they seemed to enjoy the dinner & the show. The food was ok & the show was entertaining. However, I hated being herded like cattle. We all waited outside in a long line, then we entered the building where they took our picture, then we were herded into a big room with a bar in the center & very few seats. We had to stand for quite awhile before they herded us to our seats. Dh & I both said we didn't understand why they didn't treat their customers with a little more dignity. I don't understand why they don't seat you as you arrive. After all the shows aren't cheap. Because of this we've never been to another of these 'dinner theaters' since.

We went last year and enjoyed it. Of course, we grew up around horses and enjoy watching them perform so that might have something to do with it. The food was okay, I do not like prime rib so I had chicken, but DH had the rib and he enjoyed it. Also, we sat in the VIP seats up above and had a great view. We got our tickets by going to one of those time share presentations so it did not cost us anything except 90 minutes of our time, but we did get 5 tickets.

IMHO - All these dinner shows are dreadful - food is lousy and the entertainment 3rd rate. Can only compare with those awful holiday camp holidays when I was young. Worse thing of all is that they are so expensive - for half the price you can eat at a really good restaurant like The Butcher Shop at Mercado and then go into the central square and listen to some good live music.

Thank you all for your honest and candid opinions. That's what I wanted to hear. I respect all advice that I received here at the DIS. Based on what you all had to say, O'hana's is looking better and better. Thanks again my friends.:)
