Looks like horsey tourists are spending their vacation cash more carefully....

Arabian Nights has said today it will close permanently on December 31st, citing the demand in the marketplace for a cheaper product than it can provide as the reason.

The owner will be moving all 40 horses to his farm, but naturally there's 220 people out of a job at the end of the year :(

If you're heading over this year and were thinking about catching it, do it while you can!

Not my kind of thing but considered going years ago, bought some tickets off Ebay I saw dirt cheap, never used them so relisted and made a profit. :goodvibes

Just a few weeks ago it was on the local Florida news that they had updated all their show, seems funny to do that if they are closing down :sad2:

What a shame. :( We saw this on our first trip and really enjoyed it.

Wow, shame. Our timeshare is Vacation Village at Parkway so it's just a 2 min walk across street so was a nice little night when we both could have a drink. Loved show. I'm not into horses but could see the skill the riders had . I think it was slightly wasted on some who didn't appreciate the work the entertainers did.

I expect Vacation Village will snap up the land and build yet another building block.

I remember seeing this when I was 12 on my first visit to Orlando, I guess it's a bit dated now but it's done well to last as it did
