We are big fans of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon but are thinking of trying something new. What you do think of Aquatica and how does it compare to the Disney water parks?

Bump, We are huge Typhoon Lagoon fans too and would be interested to hear others opinions when comparing Aquatica to Disney water parks.

We were wondering this too and today found Trip Advisor has a nice amount of reviews that help alot.

We went last week for the 1st time and it is by far my favorite Orlando waterpark. Blizzard Beach has the excitement of Summit Plummet and Typhoon Lagoon has the water coaster but after a couple of hours I'm ready to leave these parks but I stayed at Aquatica for 8 hours with my daughter as she went on every ride and loved them all plus the water is kept alot warmer than the Disney parks and the rivers are awesome and I love the fact that the wave pools don't allow tubes. Aquatica will be a part of every trip for us from now on.

I visited Aquatica a few weeks ago with my mom, and friends week asking me if it was better than TL and BB.. but I really can't compare them. It's like apples to oranges. It's just so different to me. I'm a hardcore disney girl all the way, but I REALLY liked Aquatica. I had low expectations going in, and they REALLY blew me away. It's got an australian/new zealand/south seas theme, and it's SO fun and colorful. It's really great for everyone - 2 play areas for little kids, a ton of rides for teens, a gigant beach and 2 wave pools for sun bathers and adults to relax, and 2 "lazy" rivers for gramma & grampa to chill out in. Something REALLY for everyone! I encourage you to try it, especially if you've visited TL and BB before.
